Oak Pellets / Soy Hulls (Masters Mix)
- Pre mix purchased from Mushroom Media Online
- Hydrate desired amount with hot water (1.4 liters of water per 5 cups of mix; each will equal 5lbs of substrate)
- Bag it up (Do NOT seal) pressure cook at 15psi for 2.5 hours
- Close / seal upon removal from pressure cooker
- Once cooled its ready for use
Coco Coir / Vermiculite / Gypsum / Manure (CVGM)
- Hydrate Coco Coir first with hot water and let sit for at least 22 hours
- Mix equal parts Coco Coir/ Vermiculite/ Cow Manure Compost along with approximately 1 tablespoon of gypsum per lb of spawn
- Hydrate and mix all of it thoroughly
- Bag it up (Do NOT seal) and pressure cook it at 15 psi for 3 hours and 11 minutes
- Close / seal upon removal from pressure cooker
- Once cooled its ready for use
